About Us

ACT NOW RNs is owned and operated by Carolyn Morgan. Carolyn's 20 years of experience in nursing and geriatric care inspired her to create a comprehensive support system for families facing the daunting responsibility of finding a new home for a family member when their care needs change.

Since November of 2003, ACT NOW RNs has assisted thousands of families in placement, support and care management.

Our Team

Our specialized team has knowledge of eldercare and we understand the complexity of care options and family needs. Our team will provide you and your family with the expertise and support that you need.

Carolyn Morgan, RN - Owner

Carolyn has been a nurse for more than 20 years. Her specialty and practice has been exclusively in geriatric care. Working with a local hospice brought Carolyn into Tucson’s assisted living centers and homes where she gained first hand knowledge of the care abilities and ambience within these settings.

Prior to becoming a nurse Carolyn worked in alternative medicine where she developed a holistic approach to geriatrics care. As the owner of ACT NOW Carolyn enjoys the challenge of finding just the right fit for our clients and families.

Amanda Gelatt

Placement Advisor

Amanda loves to interact with all people! She believes that meeting with families and helping to educate and direct them towards the best Assisted Living options is a privilege. She also works closely with Case Managers and Social Workers in helping to facilitate the move once the decisions have been made by the family and client.

John Rosness

Phoenix Director

John brings a combined background as a marketing director and general manager for two assisted living communities in Tucson, Arizona. As a state certified assisted living facility manager
John has worked both as a Marketing Director and General Manager for two different assisted living communities.

John is a state certified assisted living facility manager and is very familiar with state regulations and compliance and can help monitor the quality of care provided in the care homes and facilities we chose to show the families. John also has extensive knowledge regarding the Veterans' Aid and Attendance benefit available to qualifying veterans. John enjoys using his knowledge and experience to help families make the best possible decision.

Debra McPherson, RN

Case Manager

Certified Fiduciary

Debra attended Nursing School at the Boswell Hospital campus of Mesa Community College, graduating in 1997. She has worked as a Medical-Surgical Floor nurse with a focus on Geriatric patient care. She also has worked as a Medical Case Manager in Tucson since December 2004. Ms McPherson is a Certified Fiduciary with the state of Arizona, and is bonded and insured. She is a member of the Case Management Society of America, National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, National Guardianship Association and Arizona Fiduciary Association.

Debbie Santiago-Rosness

Placement Advisor

Debbie's degree in Social Work adds a dimension of planning and community resource involvement to our team. She is warm and engaging and her work with families and seniors has evolved from her counseling background with families. She has served as the Director of Community Relations for several assisted living facilities where she assisted families in their transition to assisted living.
